NHS scoops award for Best Internal Communications

NHS 24 is proud to announce that their communications team have recently won the Best Internal Communications Award at The Herald’s Top Employer Awards 2024.
Announced at a ceremony held at the Radisson Hotel in Glasgow on Wednesday 30th October, the award highlights NHS 24’s commitment to fostering effective communication within in its workforce, ensuring that all employees are well-informed, engaged, and motivated.
Judges chose NHS 24 as the winner of the category as they felt that NHS 24’s innovative communication strategies and supportive culture empower staff with platforms for success, and NHS 24’s award submission highlighted a profound commitment to improving communication across the organisation. NHS 24 stood out among other category entrants due to its innovative and comprehensive internal communications strategy, which includes a variety of channels and tools designed to keep employees connected and informed – such as regular newsletters, staff feedback sessions and surveys, and an engaging intranet platform.
Ainsley McClune, Senior Communications Manager at NHS 24, expressed her joy at receiving the award:
“Winning the Best Internal Communications award was such a welcome surprise for us, particularly as we seemed to be up against some pretty strong competition in that category.
