Amina Khan

Amina was previously appointed as a Non-Executive Director of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (and was a Board Member of two Integration Joint Boards).

Based on her extensive experience as a Language Interpreter for health and social care patients/service users, which developed a good understanding of the challenges and barriers facing marginalised communities, she held the role of BAME (Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic) Diversity Champion at the Health Board. Amina brings the same commitment to the Board of NHS 24, working with stakeholders to strengthen and improve equity of experience and outcomes for service users and staff across the organisation.

As a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh – Quality Governance Collaborative, Amina also brings sound knowledge of corporate governance to the leaderships of NHS 24 at this exciting time of transformational change.
