Carole Gillie
Role: Non-Executive Director
Carol Gillie worked for over 35 years in the NHS, gaining a breadth of experience in a number of areas. This includes finance, capital planning, procurement, estates and facilities.
She graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in modern languages. Following completion of the NHS training scheme, she qualified as an Accountant (member of the Charter Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy).
The majority of her career has been in NHS Boards and she retired from the post of Director of Finance in 2020.
Carol is involved in a number of societies and clubs and as well as volunteering in her local community.
