Guidance for observing NHS 24 board meetings
A ‘meeting in public’ is a meeting where members of the public can attend to observe the proceedings of the meeting. Observers are not permitted to participate in the meeting.
A ‘public meeting’ is an open forum type of meeting that allows members of the public to participate by raising questions and taking part in discussions.
NHS 24 Board meetings are ‘meetings held in public’ which means that members of the public are invited to attend the meeting to observe the proceedings. Observers will not have the opportunity to speak or participate during the meeting.
Members of the public can attend NHS 24 Board meetings, either in person at the meeting venue, or virtually via Microsoft Teams.
