Martin Togneri is Chair of the Clinical Governance Committee at NHS 24 and brings skills and experience in the oversight of strategic planning, organisational change and operational and financial performance.
From 2007 to 2009 Martin was Director and Dean of the School of Business at Glasgow Caledonian University. Prior to this Martin was the founding Chief Executive of Scottish Development International, a role which he filled from 2000 to 2007, and in which he oversaw Scottish Enterprise’s international activities and was responsible for supporting the globalisation of Scottish companies and attracting overseas companies to Scotland. He joined SDI from Cadence Design Systems, a semiconductor design tools company, where he served as European market development director.
Martin also serves as a non-executive director of the Scottish Ambulance Service and has previously held a number of other non-executive roles in CogBooks Ltd, Skills Development Scotland, The Scottish Waterways Trust, The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance.
